The way it would work is that literally anything you say, you would be correct on. For example, you could say that humans cannot die, and poof! Everyone can live forever. Or you can say that you have a million dollars in your banking account, and just like that, you're a millionaire.

If you want to fix the world with your one thing, it would be so important to avoid unintended consequences. Like if you were to say, "This is the best of all possible worlds.", maybe this world would stay the same but other ones across the universe would start to suck worse than this one.
