The perils of sneaky, inquisitive kids.

Yesterday my fiancee discovered that her 8-year-old daughter had swiped a bunch of her makeup and hidden it in one of her toyboxes along with some of my superhero game figures and any number of pilfered snacks from the kitchen. So she asked the kid if there was anything else taken from us hidden in the room; 8-year-old answers "Yeah, I took Jason's hand sanitizer from his nightstand."

Hand sanitizer? I don't keep hand sanitizer in my nightstand; what is she talking abou -- ah jeez. It can't be. No way.

Yup. She'd been slathering her hands with this for a week.

Sigh. Time for a lock on the drawer.
