North Carolina Sucks

Their stupid pseudoephedrine laws have wrongly kept me from buying cold medicine. They scanned my id and it said I have purchased the limit. The think is, I have bought none. So who is using my ID? I have no idea where to go to get this corrected because this state is a piece of shit and hasn't provided for the fact that errors will happen with this kind of system.

And there seems to be no way to check if someone has stolen my id to buy this stuff. I still have it, so I don't know how it's possible.

...but, if they can get your personal info they can have a new 'legal' ID made, get credit cards in your name, etc. Call the SS office and see if they can tell you what to do. Quickly.

I miss real ephedrine. Stuff got me thru college and was better for ADD than Ritalin or Adderol.

Maybe someone is using your phone# or email address? I never have my store cards to scan so I punch that stuff, or tell the clerk.

That's disturbing.

It might actually be federal law, now that I think about it.

I guess the strip stores all your info now. I'm going to microwave my DL; I don't think it could be secure enough from determined identity thieves.

I would call the local law enforcement and explain the problem to them.

No, I'm guessing (hoping) that it was an error. I also had to sign, like you do for credit card, with one of those stylus things. Maybe it didn't match.

But I bought some Dayquil, which is helping a little.
