A little over an hour to go. If it wasn't for Wiki, I wouldn't known what was going on!

Huge Judi Dench fan, though!

But I can't get anybody at home to watch it with me.

Sigh.

My right-wing Republican co-worker thinks it's one of the "top 5 movies of all time". He would not stop talking about the fucking movie - I think it's like porn to some of the right-wingers.

But Republicans are rarely internally consistent in their logic. (In other words, they're often really, really dumb)

The credits are rolling right now.

Great story, Crappy movie. Don't think Jessica Chastain deserved an Oscar nomination for her acting. (Just because the character didn't take shit doesn't mean Jessica acted the role well).

They're the color of an old UK phonebooth, and they are a vending machine to rent movies--you can get the ones that are past their initial "on sale" period but have not yet migrated to pay TV for a buck or buck fifty, depending on if it's a regular dvd or blue ray.

I use them up in northern ME where I can't get much in the way of TV--two digital channels that sometimes work and sometimes don't, and fuzzy Canadian TV!

But I thought the logic behind tracking the courier down was compelling. I guess it would have been dishonest to leave out the torture.

... there are those "artists" who don't seek to elucidate, to educate, to illuminate or even communicate. They are just there to pander to mass idiocy and grab some fortune and/or fame.
