(72,300 posts)That cute little bird would turn itself upside down trying to get m to take him home.
It was the wrong time for me to bring home another bird.
I will be looking forward to more photos from you.

(23,340 posts)at a restaurant. The camel did it standing up, while we ate. I thought it was so cool.
This must have been in the mid '60s.
You have some very nice pictures, by the way. It appears to have changed somewhat since I was last there.

(55,142 posts)Bush Gardens usually adds something or changes something at least once a year & Sea Worlds new roller coaster (The Manta) is probably the best one I have ever ridden & I have ridden a lot of coasters.

(12,132 posts)My wife literally just got hired at Seaworld - as I type this she is at her new hire orientation. I plan to ride the heck out of that Manta!
I was disappointed to find out that they no longer give employees free cases of beer though.

(55,142 posts)There is nothing like Manta at least that I have ever ridden. Once you are buckled in then they restrain your dangling legs your seat is lifted so you look like your flying like a bird & with all the twists & turns & loops, I never knew if I was upside down or not.
P.S. I ended up riding it six times in a row.
P.S.S. I hope your wife gets the job.

(12,132 posts)also owns or has interest in Universal Studios too. She called and said we get passes to there too!
She's nervous because this is the first job she's had in 10 years or so - she'd been taking care of our granddaughters until they got old enough to not need it so much any more. She'll be in one of those photo booths selling pictures they take of you on the rides.
Lol, she saw the job opening online and filled it out on a whim and was shocked when they called her in for an interview last week. More shocked when they offered her the job - she figured she was too old. She won;t be making a ton of cash but it will help take some pressure off. Our house and cars are paid off so it's all gravy.
Thanks again for sharing the pics and glad you had a good time in our corner of the world!
