I think the wind planted them for me.

The bees sure seem to enjoy them.

Hope all goes well with your Father.

After Glenn asked for Herschel's blessing, did anyone else think that he was going to die?

8. My guess

My guess - most likely to die among the "prison" gang
1) Hershel
2) Judith the Lil Asskicker
3) Beth

Less likely to die, but still a chance:
4) Daryl (he's a guest on this coming Sunday's Talking Dead - usually not a good sign)
5) Maggie
6) Carol

I think just about all of Woodbury is doomed, though they may have a survivor or two (maybe Milton will step in to take Hershel's place as the "doctor" in the group?)

I'm hoping Tyreese makes it because he's one of my favorite characters from the comics deserves more screen time. I think Andrea will also make it.

So, we'll have these characters heading into Season 4:
Rick, Carl, Glenn, Maggie, Carol, Andrea, Michonne, Tyreese and maybe one or two others (Sasha, Milton, Beth, Daryl)

Hershel might be injured in the fighting and stay behind to let the others escape.

Who knows.

He didn't want to leave the farm, just stay and fight.

I will miss Hershel, I will miss whoever is gone.

It will be a long time until next season.

that Herhsel was passing the torch to Glenn - Hershel thinks he's going to die, so wants Glenn to officially be able to protect Maggie as her husband, instead of just her boyfriend (and, by extension, Beth as sister in law, instead of girlfriend's sister)

Even Shane. He brought so much tension to the show that it was hard not to compulsively grit your teeth when he was in the scene because you expected him to explode in violence. Every death has been very difficult, especially Sophia's. The characters are all so human, warts and all. It's messy, just like real life would probably be under those circumstances.

Baby Judith adds such a dimension of fear into the story, which they haven't even started exploring. How can they even think of leaving the prison with her. If she ever cried it could mean death for all of them. I hope they stay in the prison, even though I realize the plot needs to continue. Maybe the Governor is good for another season. I kind of hope so because as a character who's driving the plot right now he's doing a great job.

10. Season 2 we had the Shane-Rick rivalry for tension

as well as Shane-Dale, Shane-Lori, Hershel vs Rick's group.

This year, it's been the prison group vs the Governor, as well as Merle vs everybody, and Rick vs himself, as well as a bit of Andrea vs the Governor and Michonne vs the Governor.

With Merle gone, and possibly the Governor, they'll need somebody new to bring tension to the group, unless season 4 starts off with Andrea, Tyreese, etc trying to meld with the group?

He's great for tension and to drive the plot. He's got tension going with Rick, Michonne, Andrea, Maggie and Glenn. I think it would be great if they took him into Season 3, if only a few episodes. Besides the build up for this war should take more than one episode to end.
