I know there are some amazing photos of Jazzland post-Katrina and The Salton Sea, which is fascinating.

At one time, there were probably 1000 or more families living here. Now, it's all just a ghost town.

until 2006. However, Nara Dreamland was not the only Japanese theme park to go under. They were overbuilt during the economic bubble of the 1980s.

I'm surprised they just abandoned it, instead of demolishing it and repurposing the land.

Frontier Town in North Hudson NY up in the Adirondacks. I've seen it from the highway a few times but haven't tried to get in.
