More of a Walking Dead get together.

We will have a nice dinner.

Fried turkey.

Every holiday calls for fried turkey.

I am sure someone will bring one.

I supply the turkey and ice tea.

What else is coming I don't know.

It just will be a surprise.

I have to take out the turky fryer in the morning.

We've got killer jelly belly beans that taste like popcorn, a chocolate rabbit and no hot cross buns, but will have lots of BBQ tofu!

... from Jelly Belly. Their coolest concept (I've found it at dollar stores, but you can also order
these from their website) are Belly Flops... jelly beans that didn't quite meet their standards.
Some are misshapen or fused together. Trouble is their flavors don't come through very well
with these -- I think maybe that's the "flop" with the majority of them (they are much cheaper --
but not worth the savings). Cool name, though.

Possibly the best "non-MiddleFingerMom-cooked" holiday dinner was a Thanksgiving when I
was invited to join some vegetarian hardcore foodies. I didn't miss the turkey at all and, if
I could have had these folks cook for me all the time, I don't think I ever would have missed
meat ever.

Sister and her family are showing up, supposedly. Should be really awkward, considering she's a right-wing nut who told me never to contact her again, and I'm supposed to show up and be courteous and polite. Dreading tomorrow!

Oh my word, I am so tired of the holidays and all the drama that they bring.

Good luck.

Right now I'm gonna hide Easter eggs for my four-year-old nephew.

But afterward I went drumming with 13 fellow pagans to celebrate spring, and that was great.
