Ok, what's the deal with people who park in the fire lane in front of grocery stores?

If someone is dropping off their SO or kid, are they worried that person won't be able to find the car if they go park it?

Are the handicapped spots too far for them?

It's not like it's to quick run in and buy a gallon of milk and run back out. I've seen cars parked in the fire lane when I go into the store and then after I've done all my shopping, they're still there. All they do is clog up an already VERY busy and chaotic area with lots of cars coming and going and pedestrians crossing to get to their, legally, parked cars.

If they're in the "fire" lane, then they are obviously there to serve as targets for practice.

That goes along with the husband's idea of attaching a giant dildo to the front of his van, controlled by a lever, so he can get people to drive the speed limit. With the addition of your flame thrower and my Howitzer, pretty sure traffic and parking wouldn't be a problem.

But, I think I have the long-range covered with the Howitzer, so could probably do away with the grenades. On the other hand, there are those medium range slugs that I could clear out with a grenade. The ones that are driving 15 mph under the limit and have a mile of cars behind them. Yeah...on second thought, I'll take the grenade launcher, too.

If there's nowhere to park, fuck it - you've got a rocket launcher - MAKE somewhere to park!!!

There is a sub-set of inconsiderate motorists who honestly believe that it's OK (for them) to park right in front of the building -usually in the fire lane- because they they are "only picking up a few things". "A few things" is highly subjective, of course. It's a self-centered mentality in which the rules that apply to everyone else don't necessarily apply to them.

the oncoming car in the other lane as you pass and then they PULL OUT-- no signal, no glance at their mirrors--just pull out. After sitting there like an absolute rude lump for 10 minutes or more.

I can't tell you how many times I have escaped being nailed by these cretins by mere inches.
