You know your kindergarten teacher is overworked when.....
The other day I dropped the muchkin off in class and saw he walked over to a table across the room from where he usually sat. "Hey, what are you doing over there?", I asked. He simply said the teacher moved him. I looked at his smiling teacher (you would understand why my son has a crush if you met her), looked down at the desk and saw the names of his two best classroom friends. "Cool, you get to sit with your buddies." Teacher's smile quickly disappeared as she told me he was talking too much at his old table. "We'll just have to see how it goes." I gave my son a pat on the shoulder and asked him to concentrate on his work. Don't get me wrong, she's an outstanding teacher, but I can see how things can slip when you have so many kids to think about.
