Oh dear gawd, I joined a gym.

This...will hurt.

By the way, why do they have a "no jeans" rule? That's the only type of clothing I have for the 2nd half of my body! ...Does working out mean I have to wear sports bras?

What has my goddamn friend gotten me into... Uuuuuugh.

My wife's a 3rd degree blackbelt. She normally doesn't wear a bra (other than to work or karate), but she's required to at work and would be hating the world if she forgot to wear one to karate. Exercise can hurt those puppies! Sports bras are practical.

Get a cheap pair of sweat pants at K-Mart. They'll be comfortable.

They might have a "no belts" rule, too.

Rivets and belt buckles can be tough on the upholstered equipment.

If that's the only type of clothing you have, then you are going to have to go shopping. This is an emergency.

I wear shorts and a sports top. That's going to be the most comfortable. Make sure you have comfortable shoes too, like a trainer or running shoe or something like that.

I've always worn my normal clothing and my default shoes are running shoes anyways. Except when I was playing soccer...

Good for you!

You will feel better, sleep better, and your gut *ahem* will work better!

I wear old knit clothes to the gym. They're comfy, and nobody cares about stains! I wear my normal bra; I just keep one aside for the gym that week.

Enjoy!

You two will reinforce each other! It's all good.

I've had a horrible time falling asleep. I don't want to rely on sleeping pills anymore.

It is spelled "d-a-w-g" not "g-a-w-d", but other than that, thanks for keeping me posted with what's going on in your life.

visit the place at least 4 times and then figure out if you like it. You will.

That is my advise to anyone starting any workout regiment.
Groundhog Day 2007 I weighed over 300 pounds. Now I am at about 240 - still too high - and have completed 4 marathons.

Give it two weeks. You will like the sweat.

Though it's not a weight issue, it's more of a, "Wow, look how short my hamstrings are!" issue, due to being on the Internet, playing videogames, drawing and reading books. That's a lot of sitting on my ass.

The only good exercise I ever get is from... Yeah, I don't get good exercise.
