"OMG, what a voice!"
Of course, it's been covered a brazillian times, but still... very cool to listen to Bacharach hearing this for the first time.
Bacharach: Who was that singing on I'll never fall in love again?
Scott Simon: It was Karen Carpenter.
Bacharach: Oh my god! What a voice! You know, I was not so aware of that record, that she had recorded it and how good that sounded to me. I love it. When I get home I'll just download it, upload it, whatever the word is, and hear that song sung by Karen who was this extraordinary voice.
