Good, sturdy canvas tote bag?

I need a canvas tote bag, hopefully with either some sort of feet or reinforcement along the bottom, to carry some work items and reference materials. Doesn't have to be fancy, but shouldn't necessarily be a beach bag, either. And I'd prefer not to have a nylon bag that has all kinds of straps and buckles hanging off - I don't need a messenger cross-body bag. And I don't want logos splashed all over the place.

I'm also hoping to find a bag that will not show a lot of dirt. If it zips closed, that'd be great, too.

I've looked at the usual suspects - LL Bean, Eddie Bauer, etc. and haven't found anything that is what I want yet...

Anyone have any suggestions? Why is it so hard to find a good, simple bag with clean lines and no marketing blather on it?
