I took the bus yesterday to go to the Seattle International Film Festival. It was raining when I got there. There was no one to hold an umbrella over me. In shock and horror, I reached into my bag and pulled out an umbrella. Then and there, with no assistance or regard from associates or passers-by, I pushed a button on the handle and out blossomed a bright red cover for my old-lady head and 10-year old jacket. Somehow I survived.
I guess the bottom line is everyone (including PBO) must deal with raindrops in his/her own way. Who are we to critisize?

rather than deal with the paradox of holding an umbrella WHILE they give a speech, because, that would really look stupid.
