as the Southern Californians. Unless the Dead Things choke away a 3-1 lead, or the Guppies swim out of a 3-2 whirlpool, the scumsucking Kings get to host the West finals, then go on to play for the dented tin cup -- again.

The odds are never good when you are down 3-1. Too many times I've been excited for a comeback - pretty much never happens if you are a Canadian team.

My team didn't even make the playoffs, so what the heck. I was planning to cheer for whatever Canadian team made it through. Guess I'm done for the year now.
