Weird - after a week of of mid 80s.

Great for our lettuce....but we can hear our tomato, pepper and eggplant plants shivering!

night and it is too cold to do this. I live a few blocks from the Verrazano Narrows which is the mid-point of the New York harbor, and it is beautiful and fun to go down by the water. But it is cold!

I sweated like a pig even during mild physical activity in a mostly overcast sky. Today it was crisp, dry & breezy I breathed like I had 5 noses and sweated nary a millionth of an ounce despite working in the sun. No doubt today and the next 2 will likely be the last days before the 3rd week of September where the air isn't the consistency of peanut butter.

Ah yes the wild epic battle as summer replaces winter.
