There is a marathon of Continuum on Sci Fi.

I read the wiki plot and maybe I'm misreading the plot, but it sounds as if Corporations have taken over by the year 2077. A group of rebels that want to change that go back into the past, presumably to destroy the events that give the power of the government over to corporations. But when they warp back in time, they accidentally take a female cop back with them.

This is the part I don't get. She has managed to connect with the legal authorities. They now have an organization called Continuum and they're trying to hunt the rebels down?

Is she suppose to be the protagonist or the antagonist?

Rachel Nichols is the protagonist.
She is a member of the policifing force of the Corporations, but she is also having second thoughts.

So I'll make a new gist description:

Corporations take over by year 2077.
A group of rebels caught after blowing up a few buildings were able to circumvent security and head back to the past during their execution, accidentally takinga female cop back with them.

Through her advanced technology she was able to join the local authorities and ends up heading a task force to hunt the rebels down. (No, I didn't realize they called the organization as Continuum).

She has complicated feelings in regards to how the corporations treat citizens and her relationship to it.

Either way, I am not going to say more than that. I am not sure if I like the series, but I do like Rachel Nichols, so...

Yes.

The answer is "Yes".

Just watch the show...if by the end of the season you don't have a hundred other questions, I'll be shocked. I watched the first season and thought it was fun sci-fi schlock. Enjoyable but topical TV drama...then the last 10 minutes of the season finale turns everything you believe or know upside down.

I'm looking forward to season two if only because the end of season one leaves you on edge...the cliffhanger plot-twist was brutal. I never saw that coming and having watched it 5 times I'm still not sure I fully understand the ramifications of it.
