(6,278 posts)Here's one review:
The pounds started to melt off almost immediately. My barrel must be four inches leaner. I am developing great definition in my hock and withers, and I now have a stifle to die for. Unfortunately though, I must report that my fingernails have fused together and are forming some nasty-looking hooves on my hands and feet, and I seem to be growing a tail. I wouldn't mind that except the hair is very unruly and no amount of conditioner will make it shiny. I'm spending a fortune on ribbons and brushing supplies. Oh my blanket budget has also skyrocketed.
Overall, I am happy with the results of this workout regimen, but find the upkeep and maintenance a bit costly and unwieldy. I have begged my husband to give Prancercise a try because..well..y'know. But he is afraid he will have to buy a new wardrobe for his new physique.

(1,999 posts)I'm trying to interest a coworker in it but not having a great deal of luck.
It actually does look like fun, and I might be able to get FMLA again based on a DSM-IV diagnosis.

(12,592 posts)probably the exercise might be ok.
I would like to see this same prancing done by someone who looks like people actually look in this century - bet it would be kinda cute.

I still think good for her if it keeps her happy and healthy.
Not that I see something like that burning much calories.

(34,095 posts)I thought about mentioned above (oh boy there are SO many things here) all I could think every time she lifted off the ground a bit while prancing was what one of my geldings sounds like when he prances.
This video would be perfect if they just added gelding farts. With every step. Seriously. He can go for 10 minutes like that.
Oh my. Oh my.

She does look like she's in good shape. However, the top part and bottom parts of her outfit don't go together at all!

(34,095 posts)for that post but you rescued me, thanks. Yup, I have 5 horses. I had 7 but have lost 2 over the last few years
I have one gelding that just has to be a record setter. With every step, kick, roll or just standing. He is hysterical.
She is in much better shape than I am but I am not too keen on prancing, just not happening for me
CottonBear
(21,596 posts)Your gelding sounds like a hoot! No gas colic for him!
My Oldenburg mare was rarely farty, but I've known quite a few warm bloods and Thoroughbreds who were jet propelled!
No prancing for me either. Not. Happening. Ever.
