Sunflowers always cheer me up. Wish I could grow them again. I used to love those Russian Mammoths.

Great for shade, bird and people food and also for allowing green beans to grow up them in the garden. Just wonderful things.

Your photos are still the bomb. Are you posting them as past tense because you are no longer allowed to grow things that reach above your fence, and thus no new photos?

15. The management has changed again and I can now grow them as tall as I like.

Family issues have taken the passion out of my garden enthusiasm.

I enjoy sharing the old photos that I have posted in the past.

Someone in my apartment complex planted sunflower seeds in different places around the buildings last summer. Even with the horrific heat we had, they were ginormous. They made me think of your photos.

But we still get enough to roast, when we grow them. I probably won't this year. Too many other things, not enough beds.
