Mystery Neighbor who plays the trumpet beautifully

Somebody fairly close to me has been sitting in their backyard playing the trumpet in the evening.
This person plays beautifully and I have taken to sitting outside and listening.
Long fluid runs with warm and wonderful tone.
Not for too long, a half hour or so, around 6 or 7 o'clock
I hope no one is bothered by the noise
I have walked around the block few times and tried figure out which backyard the music is coming from.
I think I know and would love to ring the bell and thank this person for the sweet sweet music.

But I haven't, worried its too much, I don't know the person or the family.

Do you think I should? or should just enjoy and keep quiet ?
I am aware it might be a teenager, or a Senior citizen
What would you do?

We had a teenaged girl next door who came out on her deck with her back up "band" to belt out country songs. She dreamed of going to Nashville. I don't think she got there!

I don't miss that gang!

I saw a clip on TV not too long ago about a small town somewhere in the USA. Every evening at dusk, a man plays taps from his balcony while the town official takes down its flag. Everyone comes outside and stands quietly. I dunno, but that would make me sad every evening.

or yell thank you.

When I was in jr high school and high school there was a rock band called White Clover who practiced in a garage a half block from my house. It was pretty loud but no one complained. Many of us are glad they did not since the band changed it's name to Kansas a few years later.

Good for you. As a musician I would love to hear you respond.
