Or "The Thick of It" in which he plays basically the same character. The Thick of It is a British comedy set in the world of politics. These people are hilariously nasty, especially Malcolm Tucker, as played by Capaldi. I doubt he'll be allowed to curse so much on Doctor Who!

He's good at doing lots of really different roles, so he should be great as the Doctor.

is I really hate the new doctors at first (yes, even David Tennant - I really REALLY loved Eccleston) but I always grow to love them eventually. It'll be interesting and I can't wait to see what happens with the character.
