So, as of last season's finale, how many people is Walt responsible for killing?
I'm counting 21 or 22, not necessarily in this order:
Low-level dealer: gassed him on the RV
Slightly less-low-level dealer: gassed on the RV, strangled with the bike lock
Thug1 who worked for Fring: hit with Aztek, shot(?)
Thug2 who worked for Fring: hit with Aztek (?), shot
Gail: killed by Jesse on Walt's orders
Guard who handcuffed Jesse in the lab: shot
Guard at laundromat: shot
Gus: wheelchair bomb
Tio: ib id
Thug in Casa Traquila: ib id
Mike: shot, talked to death
Nine guys + lawyer in prison: various
Minibike kid: shot (not sure if we can blame Walt, but it was his operation.
Also not counting the meth-head who got squashed by the ATM
Did I miss any?

(6,145 posts)But then I'd also count all the collateral damage from his activities. That would include the airplane crash.
Walt is pretty much swimming in blood.
Oddly, we were just talking about her yesterday, but I forgot her here.
For the sake of brevity, I'm arbitrarily limiting it to kills that Walt committed or ordered or was more or less directly responsible for. It would be hard to pin the crash victims on him, even if he'd killed Q's daughter outright IMO.
As you say, swimming in blood. What an evil bastard!

Emilio and Krazy 8
Tuco (although it was Hank who finally did him in, Walt had a part)
Jane (Walt shares at least some responsibility)
Two rival dealers who were going to kill Jesse
Gale Boetticher (Jesse acting on orders from Walter)
Hector, Tyrus and Gus in the great rest home kablooie (Suicide on the part of Hector but Walter built/installed the bomb)
Gus's guards (2) at the Superlab (Walter shot them off-camera)
Mike Ehrmantraut
Ten inmates (on orders from Walter)

(63,185 posts)I wouldn't count Tuco, in the same way that I wouldn't count Victor--someone else did the killing independent of Walt's intentions and/or instructions.
Otherwise our lists match up pretty well. Except, of course, that you were able to include the names!

That Walter did in fact shoot Tuco, just didn't result in his immediate death. Had Hank not happened along it's possible that he would have bled out from that wound.
Agree that Victor's death was all Gus.
I totally forgot that Walt had shot Tuco. Haven't watched that episode in a while.
I was misremembering that Tuco basically stumbled onto Hank while hunting for Walt & Jesse.
I stand corrected.

(53,235 posts)will become one of them.
Also, I wonder if one of Walt's crazed methhead users ends up killing him. Live by the sword, etc.
I'm expecting, however, the series to end with Walt running for the state senate.

(63,185 posts)In part because we really don't see any meth-heads die, aside from Jane and the ATM-head man.
I'm sticking more to the kills resulting directly from his instructions or actions.
Arbitrarily, of course.
