Not exactly "heavy" - well, maybe by 70's standards - but definitely kickass rock'n'roll. nomorenomore08 Aug 2013 #2

...the first two albums, especially "Tyranny & Mutation," got considerable FM radio airplay and buzz from critics.

I was kind of disappointed with "Godzilla" in the same way I was disappointed with J. Geils' "Love Stinks"...a heavy, dangerous band strikes AM radio gold with a novelty hit. Fortunately, though, the weirdness and the heaviness continued long past their "hits."

As a guitarist, I was primarily drawn to the band because of Buck Dharma. "Reaper" was their biggest hit but Dharma's greatest solo can be found on "E.T.I.," also from the "Agents" album.

R.I.P., Allen.
