My 6 month old grandson rocks out to "Stayin' Alive" and my son and dtr in law (who are kind of music snobs in a nice way) are chastened, but of course delighted nonetheless because he is SO cute when he wriggles along with those boys...so what's the deal?

(58,604 posts)Almost hurts to say that, but it was the height of the disco era, and the rhythms they used was made to get people's feet moving.
Babies will react to that, just like us.
But any good toe-tapper from any era should do the same.
