that worked on this problem. I did my doctoral dissertation on space cats and worked closely with Bryant Wigen on picking the right telescopic filters for capturing the images he would later use to remove the space cats from. It wasn't easy because of the vast distances involved and you have to account for red shift, electron doppler effect and a thousand other variables. You have to use just the right filters or the space cats will be irrevocably super imposed on the image (their incandescence is like 100 times greater than a super nova) and you can never get them out otherwise.

All in all, it was one of the more challenging projects I've worked on. It didn't take me very long either.
