7. I am not surprised by the uniformity.

My partner comment on it the other day first while noting that so many actress now have the same hair styles, use the same make up and wear the same designer clothes, but also while noting college students at a local eatery. So many of the young women just looked alike. They had the same hair cuts, wore the same make up in the same way, and even walked & talked alike.

Frankly it is a little creepy.

9. How many people here don't understand makeup?

I know I'm missing some sort of facial processing circuitry, I can walk right by people I've known all my life and not recognize them, but when I see makeup all I see is makeup. Makeup is sort of alarming to me.

It probably didn't help that the only time my mom wore makeup was when she was going to be on television, speaking at a public hearing, or in court. Then the level of stress in our house would go from a feral-human zero stress (who cares what the neighbors think..) to storm sirens EXTREME DANGER!

When my mom was wearing makeup it was best to seek shelter. I'm sure a few of the men she eviscerated in public thought the same thing.
