My wife leaves for a week in NYC, and in three days she's already going out with another man

She even sent me a pic showing how happy she was:

But have no fear: it was a planned visit to the Metropolitain Museum of Art with my brother-in-law, and was planned long in advance with the knowledge and blessings of both me and my sister.

Ha! Not what y'all thought, was it? After 39 years together, there's no way those blue eyes and that smile are getting away from me.

She did indeed have a great visit. After Cape Cod, she went up to northern Vermont to visit a friend and her husband. Then she flew down to NYC to visit with our elder daughter and my sister and her husband. She has been back in Germany since Sunday, and I will join her there shortly. I'm in Washington for a few days, left Dallas Thursday.

I stood right next to Van Gogh and Monet and so many more paintings. I couldn't believe that you could go right up next to them.
I was quite touched. For a coupla bucks, you could rent a device--you punch in the number of the work of art and the recording would give you the back story. I was there only for a day, I could have spent weeks......
PS- beautiful wife.

The bad ones are that every woman in her family, including her, has had cancer. Her younger brother already died of it.

The good ones keep her looking great as she ages. Actually the pic in the OP was after a hot sweaty day running around NYC. When she has the time, she can make herself look like this (pic from last year at age 60):

And still, no artificial ingredients.

I took one look, thought I'd never have a chance with a woman like that. She had never met an American before, and found me mildly exotic. So I said hey, even women like her end up with SOMEBODY, so why NOT me? And so here we are, almost 40 years later.
