After meeting Dylan, I never want to meet another celebrity that I admire due to the possibility of tarnishing my adoration for them.

Dylan was such a prick job when I met him.

Hey,
I'm a huge Dylan fan and not sure if I would ever want to meet him actually just because of this. I can see why he would be an asshole with all the crap he has gone through. I have met a few famous people, Muhammad Ali probably being the most famous. I think a lot depends on the circumstances in which the meeting takes place.

Peace

I sort of just assume that most celebrities are a bit of a dick. Comes with the territory for many, what with the huge ego's many have and are sort of required. This isn't to say there probably aren't lots of nice ones out there but it's safer to assume they are first.

Okay here's how it works: two solenoids positioned back to back each uses its respective armature to simultaneously bop an adjacent wheeled rounded cube to roll along half of a U shaped track; and then both cubes go against a spacecraft bulkhead, they each bop that bulkhead forward and are reeled to return to their starting positions; and this entire process repeats itself. Aside from repairs, this movement works infinitely. This Ubopdrive as I call it is good for a satellite to maintain a geosynchronous position.

Many, if not most creative people do not fit into our mold of "acceptable".

but they have made great contributions to our culture and enjoyment.

It takes an unusual person to put their life in the public venue solely to entertain us.

Yes, some for greed, but again - so what?

I enjoy Michael Jackson's music, Lady Gaga's and so on.

I like music - I'll listen to it regardless who wrote/sang it if I like the tune/message in the song.

Not happy with Cher leaving Bono when her career took off,

but I still love her music and will continue to listen to it.

Just to be clear, if Hitler had made good music?

I'd listen to it - liking another person's talents being it art, acting, music, literature, whatever,

does not necessitate me liking nor accepting the persons lifestyle.

As in my real life, I do not expect most DUers to agree with me.

I don't give a shit.

seems ass-backwards to me. Lennon? Not really the man of peace he's been made out to be, but the Beatles are still the greatest band of all time (besides the Stones). Polanski? Piece of shit human being, a sexual predator, but has made some great films ("Repulsion," "Rosemary's Baby," "The Tenant&quot . Jim Morrison? Definitely an asshole, and a drunken buffoon, but also one of the most iconic frontmen in history, with good reason.
