my worst memories of playing top forty were Can youse guys play Color My World ? hey play Feelings , Born To Be Wild , Honky Tonk Woman .

... for the time I forgot it was Karaoke Night at my local pub and walked down for a coupla beers.

There was a limo out front and, on going in, I found several young American execs who had been
charged with taking several young Japanese execs out on the town. They had wanted a karaoke
bar.
.
The first one to get up there did this outrageously bad version of "Born to be Wild", but he was
so unaware of how bad he was, so un-selfconscious, so into his performance (you would have
thought he was Elvis or James Brown) that it was an INCREDIBLE performance.

The crowd went wild -- and not in a snarky way, but with an awareness that they were in the
presence of AWESOME!!!
