I like the challenges, but I don't want to pay for it long term. I have pc games I play just to exercise my brain. I noticed over many years the changes that occur. For instances, I have tetris, and I'm slower than I use to be. I have other games I've picked up over the years, mostly memory, strategy, speed. I guess you could call them board games or puzzles. I just want to try to hold off the brain inaction. I have a friend that was afflicted with Alzheimer's at the age of 56, she's almost 70 now but she's just not there anymore.

but even at my advanced age, I loved being a "grad student." I felt so smart...briefly...I must say I did love the Independent Study I designed...a lot of work, but a lot of fun, too.

boy, it was a scramble...lots of "vacation" time off was spent on writing papers required by a deadline...I didn't have too much of a life...luckily, I had a job with generous vacation benefits and a tuition vouchers per semester! Those were the good old days!

I tend to do the history related challenges. Sometimes my scores are just downright ugly...

And I know I've read that Snopes says they're legitimate. Somehow, they're connected to the UN's food program (or something similar.) Though they do ask people to click on their ads from time to time. I will, just to help them out that way, too. Doesn't bother me to do that as I find it a worthy cause.

I haven't used them for a few years though.

I tried again, and created a username. It is very very buggy.

Maybe on Treehugger.com originally. Years ago, before they were bought out by Discovery Channel, you could learn about interesting sites like FreeRice

I'm not interested in paying, though, so I just get spam email from them now.
