Don't you hate it when you go to the grocery store to pick up a few items

I think this happens to me every single time I stop at the store. It's pathological, I think.

Always surprised how cheap I get out of there.

5. I spent $47 at a Dollar Store once.

I just went in to get candy for the movies.

8. The only times I've spent that much at a grocery store

are those very rare times when I actually intended to spend that much. Usually, I'll just carry a hand basket and put just enough stuff in it to fill my eco-bag.

do the shopping...Mr Pipi does, but yeah...

I'll give him a list with five items on it and he comes back with five BAGS.

Although, to be fair, I do set out to only get a couple of things in the dollar store and walk out spending almost 40 bucks...almost every time.

Yesterday needed about $40 worth to replenish supplies used,

came out with $160 worth!

Not wasted money really - it's food after all.

But if you're on a pretty tight budget,

Never grocery shop when ur hungry.
