I have GOT to get out of here!!! They are driving me nuts. They keep demanding more and more. They don't seem to understand I am leaving and need to keep a little money. They now have a $2 charge on doing Laundry and taking showers!!

Oct. 5th can NOT come fast enough!!!!

All I want is on that bus ASAP!!

Man, I just want to go home so bad I can taste it!!!


ADD) As I say in Post 3, it would not be so bad if they were not getting the lion's share as it is. And To finish paying them off, I need to keep me and try to keep my only pair of Kakis looking good.

My 'family is try a new approach at getting more money out of me.

They know I have a ticket and they don't like it. One sis was expecting me to take over here trailer payment over and pay it of for her.

3. It would not be that much if I had it to spare.

But with having to pay them so much already, I don't have it to spare!

They are getting the lion's share as it is. And to finish paying them off I need to keep clean and to try and keep the only pair of Kakis looking good. But they want to get what they can and to hell will everything else.

4. Is there any other place that you can go?

Are there any hotels/motels/YWCAs or whatever in you area that offer a weekly rate that might be less then what you are paying your family? I don't know if Craig's List or any other sites might have information on people looking for roommates. Or can you post somewhere on line that you need a short term boarding situation for just a few weeks.

Edit to add - I would not blame you if you turned your back on these people once you are able to return to Arizona.

6. Don't have the money right now.

Most of what I get is going to them to pay back for the ticket here, the repairs on my computer due to an accident that involved my nephew, and what they call "miscellaneous". Such as the laundry and the shower and ect.

8. If it were me, this is what I would do...

I would realize that these people aren't going to let me go without a fight. I would not give them any more money. I would take my money and find a short-term place to live until October. I would take my shit and go, no telling them, no forwarding address. If I needed an address for mail, I rent one of those private mailboxes and fill out a change-of-address with the USPS.

Then, once I got to Arizona and found a place to live and a job and felt secure, I would send payments to my family - maybe.

9. Oh, I have thought of that as so have they.

I am out in the woods basically. It is a very rule Trailer park. I have no transportation save dad's car.

And if I do do that they will call the cops on me and get me for not paying them. Not sure what trouble that will cause.

I do have a name for a taxi service but it will cost $25 for them to come and get me.

So I am thinking of using the PayPal that I set up to try and hide some from them. But it still will be very little for me.

10. The police can't arrest you for a personal debt.

Your family would have to pay a lawyer to file a case in a civil court.

But the he said she said is the killer. As in was it a personal debt or thief. I have seen them lie to the police before to cause people trouble. And they have pulled stuff to me like this before, a long time ago, but they have and will do it again.

Stupid me for believing they have changed over time.

And My job ends the 14th. so I get to be stuck out here with them.

12. How about a women's shelter??

You basically are still recovering from that abusive BF. You fled that situation. You tried to find refuge with family, but that didn't work so you are still fleeing the abusive situation. If you get in with a women's shelter, you can get many different benefits. You can get a letter from them that will help you with housing, and other things. Clothing, too. You will be protected.

13. Checked with them from the bus when I was comming down to Joplin.

1. Love the new Wi-Fi on many of the buses.

But due to it being a case in Arizona, that there is not much that can be done.

And the family thing, well no physical problems so not much again.

However I contacted something while I was off line for a time there. I might an answer for myself!
