I was doing a good deed by taking a friend who had overindulged home so he could sleep it off. He had just been through a pretty nasty breakup and had tried to drown his sorrows with some success.

When I turned back the covers on the bed, there was a circle drawn on the sheet in ink with the caption "Is this where she slept?". I just covered him up and left.

We never spoke of it again, but I've often wondered if he ever got the message washed out.
