(1,957 posts)It does have a face that cannot be explained but it is the ship of the desert and no doubt a face that only mother can love. However we tend to enjoy all the extremes
that nature has to offer. Both camels(one and two hump variety),the elephant(even if it did end up as a symbol for you know what), fpr it's size and flexible "nose tube", the giraffe for having a neck that can house many neckties, the zebra for always looking like a convict(which came first--the zebra or the convict),the octopus that seems to be in mass confusion all the time as those arms(?) never seem to want to go in the same direction. We seem to remember those who are an exception to every rule of sensibility and that is what makes them so cute or clever or just fascinating to watch.
