A sort of good news update about the little kitten

She has a new home. That was the intent all along, although I kept her longer than planned...3 weeks. She went to the woman who feeds one of my feral colonies...she called me and said she thought the little one would be good company for her other female. Anyway, she had her for 4 days on a try-out, and I knew she was going to keep her because she's so cute, and she called me to say yes, she could not live without her. I miss her, but she'll have a good phone with a person who really loves cats and will be spoiled, and I'll be able to know how she's doing. Besides, trapping again this weekend, so I may end up with more little ones and I'll need space for them.

and that is great. Sorry you will miss her but it is great that you can see her and keep up with what she is doing. Thank you for being so wonderful and saving all the precious little kitties

EDIT because for some reason I have had to edit all my posts today because my fingers are not connecting to my brain!

Have you recovered from the horror of the US Open? I haven't!

I am sad. I think it will be better for women before then men, or maybe not. Serena is kicking ass in a way that is pretty much unstoppable right now. When her time comes that she starts losing there are an awful lot of good young women to duke it out over her falling ranking. I am looking forward to that.

I think Nadal will eventually go out with injuries. I can't see a body taking that kind of abuse for long.

Sweet kitties! I say that now after my sweetest big boy clawed the hell out of my chest in the middle of the night last night. Poor fellow took a flying lesson across the bed and into the wall. I had to chase him down to make it up to him. I did NOT mean to do that. He is such a baby but has never learned that he can't knead me with his claws out. Drool kitty.

have figured it out, but she hasn't...I take her paws and squeeze them a little to try and give her the idea of what she should be doing, but that doesn't work...it doesn't hurt, but it's not something I can ignore!

Were a little too rough for her...they accepted her, but didn't quite get that she was a lot smaller than they were!
