How big of a temperature swing have you had this week?

95 on Tuesday, around 90 on Wednesday, 37 this morning. Today's high 64.

No frost here, but they had frost warnings in N. Lower Michigan on the coastal counties and freeze warnings in the interior.

Autumn - it's not coming, it's here.

The better part of the last 7 days were in the upper 80's with high humidity...and no breeze. The sun was white. Even the lightest physical activity in the sun made me feel lethargic and anemic.

Yesterday the temperature hit 87/88 but the dewpoint was only 53...AND it was breezy. I only felt the sting of sun on my bare skin but the rest of me felt fine. In the shade it was bloody wonderful. I felt just SO energetic! It was like a transfusion of B12. The evening was incredibly pleasant. I couldn't get over how much uplifted my mood was. Hell, the day ( night ) before, it was a sticky 73 degrees at half-past midnight!

Today is only to hit the mid 70's and the lows in the low 50's.

S'long summer! Go away and stay away.

We had an extended heat wave this week; it began to build a week ago, and was supposed to peak Tuesday or Wednesday and then begin cooling down. Instead, every day, it's extended a little further. This morning's weather report says that today is supposed to be the last day, (which was supposed to be Friday, which was supposed to be Thursday...) We'll get one day a little cooler tomorrow, and then, finally a sudden drop by Monday.

Highs in the 90s all weekthrough today, and then 70s and 60s next week.
