Ben Gazzara died; he was a class act

Ben Gazzara had the good looks and charisma to be Paul Newman, but he decided to be an artist, and he worked with John Cassavates and made some amazing films with him: Husbands, Opening Night, and especially The Killing of a Chinese Bookie, which is one of the most under-appreciated movies ever made.

I miss you Ben Gazzara. And I miss John Cassavetes too. And Peter Falk too, who worked with Ben and John on a number of films, including Husbands and the incredible Woman Under the Influence.
