Question for Those Who Have SiriusXM Satellite Radio

My OS on my computer will not allow me to download the most current Adobe flash. Sirius XM is offering a free 30 day trial that I would like to take advantage of. I'm more than likely going to sign up after the 30 days but am having trouble setting it up on my current MAC computer.

So, I bought a Sirius XM Satellite tabletop radio. I can use an ethernet if I want to but it says no computer needed. Now, I know NOTHING about routers. My question is this. Can I go down to Wal-Mart or Best Buy and buy a $30-$50 router, plug it in next to my printer in my computer room and then listen to the radio in my kitchen? Is it this easy? Anyone have one? If so, can you talk me through it? Many thanks!

They usually have an antenna, that you set up near a window, then listen to the radio on that radio that you bought.

Sorry....I am of no help and my husband that would know is out of town and having dinner with customers right now....I can ask him when I talk to him tomorrow.

Did you try their support line? I've only had to use it a few times about recovering passwords, but they were always very helpful.

I hope you subscribe....we've had it for years and could never go back to commercial radio.

I had it in my old car when it was just Sirius & I loved it. This is when I listened to Air America and other shows on Sirius. My brother seems to think all I need is a router & I want to make sure.I got a really good deal on the radio so I'd like to listen to it. As for satellite,we live in a very dense area with lots and lots of trees. I could not even sign up for Directv because of the trees we had in our area. Not sure if this will make a difference or not. Thanks for the advice!
