Why do I care what color the phone is if I can't tell from the front and I'd have to be an idiot to not put a protective case on my phone?

You're right though, I picked up an HTC One a little more than a month ago and the guy at the store went on and on about how nice it looked (it does look pretty nice), then when I bought the phone he told me I should buy this big black Otterbox case to protect it.

I bought a smaller case but I did get a case.

5. You can tell from the front.

There is a matching metallic circle around the home button as well as a matching bezel around the entire face of the phone.

Also the iPhones are incredibly scratch resistant and I do not keep mine in a case at all.
