who wants to keep me company?

no real food in the house, in no shape to drive, so it's friday night in a college town and i'm waiting for my delivered food. i'm facing a 45-60 minute wait for my cheddar, bacon and potato calzone and could use some help passing the time.

how be by you, loungers?

I'll keep you company...

I'm just fooling around tonight, playing electronic Solitaire, and mostly losing, lol!

Every now and then I skate around DU and facebook and check to see what's happening...

I've had a good day. I'm taking a poetry workshop from someone I respect, who also respects me, and it's been a great experience.

Went to the dr's today too, and got good news about my heart health!

Your food sounds good. I hope it won't take too long...

iirc, your shoulder has been giving you a bit of trouble, how's that treating you?

ordering food is always a crapshoot, i was hoping i'd hit it early enough to beat the drunk college kid rush, but i think i pushed my luck on that count. oh well, it will be that much tastier when it gets here.

My right shoulder (replaced last January) is doing very well, and I'm so pleased with it.

My left shoulder, on the other hand, is lousy, and my surgeon and I have planned to replace it in early January, next year. Even though the recovery is unpleasant, the results are more than worth it.

I've had so much pain with it that I am now looking forward to having the surgery done and over with!

picked up a sixer of budweiser bottles at the gas station when we stopped for smokes (in colorado, that means 3.2). no sixers of pbr, so that's what i went with.

i'm competing with drunk college kids for delivery right now, 45 minutes will be a miracle.
