If he released an album of gospel standards, he'd sell millions of copies.

It's just so dull and flat. It's obvious that the studio engineer knew immediately too because the entire album he tries to bury her voice into the background and elevate the instruments into the foreground to mask just how bad the vocal track is.

As hard as that is to believe, long before Charlie's Angels, she provided the singing voice for 'Melody' on the cartoon Josie and the Pussycats. I shit you not.

It's the sincerity. They really have no clue how bad they are.

The Trekkers are campy funny. Some are just boring.

But Ladd reeeeally is clueless how incredibly bad her singing is, not to mention her neck-breaking hair waving along with the more subtle, but equally silly, stiff-jawed sneer. AAAACCCCKKKKK!!!!!!! How did the audience not break out into is beyond me.

Same for Travolta, but instead the goofy, sugary, fakey-fakey saccharine sweet gooo...... Not to mention the disco hair

WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?!?!

and I think in Travolta's case, he was just cashing in while he could. Can't blame him.

I've always liked the Cheryl Ladd, Eddie Murphy, and Don Johnson songs. But, of course, those songs were from the '70s and '80s when music was more fun than today.
