So, I bought Ronzoni pasta instead of Barilla this week

Not sure why, but one pound of Ronzoni angel hair made a lot more pasta than one pound of Barilla angel hair. Maybe Barilla noodles are individually heavier?

My wife & daughter didn't like the change in terms of taste, so we'll see how it goes.

My local grocery store has Barilla, Ronzoni and the store brand. They have a small amount of more expensive pastas, but not in the style of noodle I usually get. DeCecco (spelling?) was one, but they only had linguine and maybe penne. Forgot the other brands.

buying Barilla for a while anyway because I discovered that if it sits too long in the cabinet, it hatches little bugs.

I thought they might be getting IN somehow, but when I started wrapping new packages before putting them away, it became obvious they were already there.

I've never seen this happen with any other brand except for Stop & Shop.

I've had Prince, Ronzoni, and Mueller in my cabinet for months without seeing those little bugs.
