So, Monday morning QBs: Has Tom Brady lost it?

His edge, that is. He's lost two Super Bowls to Eli. Can he still win the big one?

And hasn't Eli removed any doubt that he is one of the elite quarterbacks in the NFL?

Exceptional plays by individuals: passes caught and dropped, sacks, turnovers, mistakes and good calls all add up to what it takes to win. On every snap of the ball each player does their job or not. If just one or two dropped passes are caught or one or two caught passes are dropped the game ends with a different score.

Brady outplayed Manning and yet the Pats lost...

so no and no.

Edit, more detail.

Eli is not in the same level as the elite QBs in football. Is he Brady good? No. He's not even Payton good.

since the day he was drafted and immediately demanded a trade to the Giants or else he was going to not play in the NFL.

That was a totally punk move and I have never been able to like him. And his brother will always be a better QB.

That team was the Ravens who, it can be argued, beat themselves in the AFC Championship.

Brady is still a top tier QB - so are Eli Manning, Drew Brees, Ben Roethlisberger and Aaron Rogers

I would have voted to give the MVP award to Peyton Manning this year because he showed just how valuable he is by his absence.........

whether he's there yet may still be determined, but I think credit needs to be give where due.

He was 30-40 last nite. That's unheard of. Give credit to Manningham for a great catch, but also to his line and to the game plan. The team put him into a position for success and he took advantage of it.

The same is true for Brady also. He had great numbers until the 4th quarter. But the Giants changed some things up and the Pats and their staff didn't counter and so Brady's numbers in the 4th weren't very good.
