It is freaking NOVEMBER no global warming my left butt cheek. off to basement with dog, flashlight ; water,& dried food down stairs

GEEZ....local TV weather is reporting 60+miles per hour east of my house. Power is out for several areas east of here. Thank you California Peggy...The dog has never gone into the basement before this evening (kitty litter pans make crunchy treats for dogs) she wasn't willing to walk down the stairs (outside there 4 stairs to the kitchen, to the basement there are 12). I hoisted her scared 49# over my right shoulder and slowly we went down. We came back up after the all clear sirens went off. Now, I'm gonna use the heating pad and some meds to take care of the achiness. At the minute, Princess pretty paws is sleeping on the living room dogbed under a light blanket. Excitement like this I do not want.
