3 new Salinger stories online.

These previously unpublished stories are truly great. The first one, "Ocean Full of Bowling Balls," gives a glimpse into the early Holden Caulfield and a bit of his family history. The second and third ones, "The Birthday Boy," and "Paula," show aspects of gender roles in American culture, these roles defining and shaping the endings which are very great! The last one, "Paula," has some errata that you have to mentally correct for, but it's still readable. Enjoy!

Huge Salinger fan. I have a small amount of credit of an Amazon gift card so was looking at this book yesterday by David Foster Wallace (like him a lot RIP) but read the reviews and saw one essay wasn't included in the Kindle version, which was the one I was going to order, so I bought the paperback. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0316013323/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

Sorry off topic, and here I am buying stuff for myself during the holiday season. Bad habit I have, which my aggravates my husband.

I know I read it way back in the day, but it's coming up fresh
like I didn't really read it before.

And those stories help.
