Sure we've got our crazies, but the weather makes it worth it.

For the Florida thing, I agree 100% I have been trying to convince my daughter that she DOES NOT want to move back.
Got a message from my sister they were traveling and are snowed in in Branson.

(29,414 posts)out in Dripping Springs, my windshield froze over. I don't own a scraper because that kind of thing almost never happens in Houston. It does happen in Central Texas, and yet, they don't own a scraper either (they keep all of their vehicles in their garage.) I had to get the ice off with a spatula!

(36,827 posts)One of my comrades saw all of us dutifully scraping the ice off our windshields. Being from Florida, he didn't own one so he took a tire tool out of his trunk and started tapping the ice off with that. By the time he was done he had little spider webs all over his windshield. We never let him forget that.

I highly doubt that there is a law that specifically regulates "high powered fire-breathing weaponry". But then maybe the town leaders are avid Dungeon and Dragons role players and they just confused their world of make believe with the real one just long enough to pass such a law.
