Video update for those who have been worried... I'm doing better!

Our Wishadoo lady asked if anyone would be willing to vlog about the experiences trying to get through the whole system.

This is an introductary vlog basically saying where I am and all, the next will be on all the paperwork I'm trying to get through in time to get the help I need. I was able to qualify for my Abilify!

So here it is:

A few words of advice from a guy who has some things in common with you. I hope you don't mind.

First of all, be very persistent with the applications for social security disability. It is not uncommon for people do get turned down on their first application and later be approved on appeal. It might be a good idea to get a lawyer who specializes in this area to help you with the process. Many of them will work for you and only receive pay when you are approved and get your back pay. Look into it if you are not already going this route.

Do not feel guilty about having to apply for assistance. You need this help for survival or at the very least to provide for basic necessities. That's why we have this system.
