Thinking back...share a few of your favorite toys received at Christmas...these are mine

Thinking back....what a nerd I was (is?)

Amazing to think that I enjoyed these for a long time....not just things that get unwrapped, fooled with for a bit then forgotten....

We had moved to Vancouver from asia the year before I believe. I was 6 or 7 at the time and had yet to be spoiled silly like I would be later. We weren't poor but we were just getting started here in Vancouver and things were a little uncertain. I had always loved video games and tech toys, and that year my parents bought me a used Nintendo Entertainment System. I got hundreds of hours of joy out of that system and it really started my love for gaming. Ahh nostalgia.
