(3,134 posts)What I do that is really helpful when trying to find credit for art and artists is opening a separate window with Google Image search open and 'drag and drop' the art image right into the search and it usually brings back great results if there are any to be found.

(1,941 posts)Installed the Image Chrome extension [FREE], you can just right-click the picture and then select "Search Google with this Image"

Ingres, David, Raphael, Leonardo, Caravaggio, Rembrandt, some pre Raphaelites, van Eyck, VanDerWeyden, some early American portraitists (Copley?), Durer, della Francesca, and still going over them...it is late, I will return in the morning...
