SantaCon is on! Drunken Saint Nicks, Mrs. Clauses swarm city streets
The annual bacchanal kicked off in the East Village, but the belligerent Santas and naughty elves made their way towards Downtown Brooklyn for a 'Rudolph Dance-Off.'

Thousands of drunken Santas went dashing through the snow under the influence Saturday, dutifully earning their places on Saint Nicks naughty list.
The red-faced revelers many from out of town overwhelmed parts of Brooklyn and Manhattan for SantaCon, the annual event that has created scores of local Scrooges.
In the East Village impromptu ho ho hos echoed down E. 11th St. Some Santas carried boom boxes blasting dub step, shouting and dancing. A few handed out gifts to kids navigating the sidewalks packed with scantily clad Mrs. Clauses in high-heeled boots, stumbling gingerbread houses, belligerent elves, leaning Christmas trees and, inexplicably, pandas.
