The annual bacchanal kicked off in the East Village, but the belligerent Santas and naughty elves made their way towards Downtown Brooklyn for a 'Rudolph Dance-Off.'

Thousands of drunken Santas went dashing through the snow under the influence Saturday, dutifully earning their places on Saint Nick’s “naughty” list.

The red-faced revelers — many from out of town — overwhelmed parts of Brooklyn and Manhattan for SantaCon, the annual event that has created scores of local Scrooges.

In the East Village impromptu “ho ho hos” echoed down E. 11th St. Some Santas carried boom boxes blasting dub step, shouting and dancing. A few handed out gifts to kids navigating the sidewalks packed with scantily clad Mrs. Clauses in high-heeled boots, stumbling gingerbread houses, belligerent elves, leaning Christmas trees and, inexplicably, pandas.

1. SantaCon is a scourge upon NYC.

Every year the city swears their latest effort to kill it dead will succeed, every year the revel occurs oblivious to the city's ongoing efforts to exterminate SantaCon like a roach nest.

If it didn't make living in that area of Manhattan hell, it'd be funny.
